We are currently trying to fill a Maintenance Technician job for Archway, London to work in a 5 star hotel catering for an elite clientele. The Maintenance Technician job is paying up to £40k pa, working a 40 hour week, excellent job benefits, career progression and training. Meals on Duty.

Job Duties

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for planned maintenance and reactive maintenance to mechanical and electrical systems.

Overseeing the entire building and plant including the spa pool, ponds and grounds, with the responsibility of all the maintenance and upkeep.

The Maintenance Technician job role will include attending to routine inspections, diagnosing maintenance issues and carrying out repairs to machines and equipment.

Installing appliances and equipment.

The Maintenance Technician job role will oversee maintenance contractors and assist where necessary.

Maintaining cleanliness in plant room areas and in the workshop.

Stock taking, maintaining inventories and acceptance and movement of deliveries. 

Ensure all maintenance works undertaken are in accordance with relevant approved codes of practice.

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician job role will have worked in a Maintenance Technician job role and will have working experience in a 5 star hotel or similar.

The Maintenance Technician will be a team player and be competent to get on with things when required, be willing to learn new skills and enhance current knowledge and have good written and spoken English skills.

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician job role will have a critical eye for detail, be flexible with working hours and adapt well to change.

The Maintenance Technician job required the highest standards of personal grooming, someone who really understands the importance of guest care & is discreet, friendly and professional.

Job Offer

The Maintenance Technician job is permanent

Salary to £40k pa

Working 40 hrs pw, 5 days out of 2 days. 

Time will be given in lieu when overtime is worked.
