Building Maintenance jobs

Blade Recruitment is looking to cover a building maintenance job and has a Maintenance Supervisor job available, based in a luxury residence property near Canary Wharf, London E14.

The Maintenance Supervisor will assist the Maintenance Manager with the day to day Maintenance operations of the building, paying up to £48k per annum + benefits.

Job Duties

The building maintenance job will be proactive & attend to reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the building.

Conform to health & safety regulations including fire precautions, manual handling, chemical safety & storage disposal.

Manage & reduce operations costs. Support with interviewing & hiring of maintenance staff.

Carry out training, development & performance appraisals of the maintenance team.

Carry out regular spot-checks of rooms & public areas.

Job Requirements

For the building maintenance jobs in London, the candidate for the Maintenance Supervisor job will ideally will have experience working in a customer facing job environment, someone who has previously worked as a Maintenance Team Leader, Assistant Maintenance Manager or Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Supervisor job will have a strong knowledge of Maintenance, Housekeeping, Facilities & H&S standards & London based or live within a good commute to London.
